2950433 - Error "The total file size exceeds the user size limit of ..." when inserting/upserting JobApplication via API - Recruiting Management

When creating a Job Application via API, and inserting a file alongside it, the system returns the following error: "Upsert failed: The total file size exceeds the user size limit of ...".

This is due to the Storage Allocation settings set up in Provisioning.

This specific message is not talking about the size of the file, but the total size of files this user has already. To resolve that and to also not face this problem in the future, you must access the back end of the system (provisioning) and increase the Attachment user limit:

This setting can be changed to "No Limit", which of course depends on what the use cases of your instance/configuration, but this will eliminate the problem once for all.
