2950519 - "Access to the path specified by the connection is not permitted. Contact your administrator" occurred when creating connection to File Server in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Followed the steps in the SAC help guide: Allowing Data Import and Model Export with a File Server, to create the connection to File Server in SAC, while the following error occurred in SAC.

• "Access to the path specified by the connection is not permitted. Contact your administrator."

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)

1. Install and configure the SAP Analytics Cloud Agent.
2. Follow the steps in the guide Allowing Data Import and Model Export with a File Server to create connection to File Server in SAC.
3. Set the operating system environment variable SAP_CLOUD_AGENT_FILE_SERVER_WHITELIST_PATH.

Need to maintain the parameter in the Tomcat JAVA options but not in system variables.

In Tomcat of Window, go to Tomcat Management -> Java tab. Under Java Options, add the following lines:

• For import data: -DSAP_CLOUD_AGENT_FILE_SERVER_WHITELIST_PATH=<AllowlistFilepath>

• For export model: -DSAP_CLOUD_AGENT_FILE_SERVER_EXPORT_WHITELIST_PATH=<AllowlistFilepath>

In Tomcat of Linux, add the allowlist location to JAVA_OPTS. 

• Set the operating system environment variable SAP_CLOUD_AGENT_FILE_SERVER_WHITELIST_PATH or SAP_CLOUD_AGENT_FILE_SERVER_EXPORT_WHITELIST_PATH to the location of the allowlist file.

Note: The allowlist Java options will be flushed out during SAP Analytics Cloud Agent Simple Deployment Kit upgrade since the installer will replace all the installation files.
         So please manually add the allowlist Java options back.
