2950997 - ERROR: NTPCI__exit(1); Native Thread failed to unwind while attempting to shutdown the PCI - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • When a procedure is created with the same name as a java datatype, the procedure fails with a fatal error detected by the SAP Java Virtual Machine on Windows.
  • ASE errorlog may report the following kernel message:

PCI(T1): ERROR: NTPCI__exit(1); Native Thread failed to unwind while attempting to shutdown the PCI
