Symptom

Planned Quantity of 3PL request KLM gets changed once 3PL Outbound Delivery  is created and released for Partial Delivery.KLM refers to 3PL Request id

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Third-Party Logistics Work Center 
  2. Navigate to 3PL Requests View
  3. Search for KLM
  4. You observe Before delivery (Requested Quantity = 2 EA, Planned Quantity = 2 EA, Delivered Quantity= 0 EA) *EA refers to UoM
  5. After Partial Delivery of 1EA and 3PL Outbound Delivery release(Requested Quantity = 2 EA, Planned Quantity= 1 EA, Delivered Quantity= 1 EA)

Cause

The planned quantity gets updated inline with delivered quantities, once the Outbound Delivery is created and released.

Resolution

we always can refer to the Requested Quantity field for getting an understanding of quantity requested, instead of referring to planned quantity field.Requested quantity will never change.This is the standard design. Not just on 3PL request, even on Warehouse Request the behavior is same.
