2951379 - Condition &1 is not supported for Tax Code &2

Symptom

When you editing the Configuration Activity-  Define Tax Codes for Sales and Purchases, you are getting the error message: Condition &1 is not supported for Tax Code &2.

Reproducing the Issue

  1.  Configuration activity Define Tax Codes for Sales and Purchases ID 101016
  2.  Enter tax code and rate(s)

Condition &1 is not supported for Tax Code &2.

Cause

Incorrect Customizing.

Resolution

Check if the Tax Code you are trying to edit is allowed based on the configuration of the Tax Condition.

In Configuration Activity Define Tax Codes for Sales and Purchases

Enter in tax code

Select Levels

Here you can see the conditions for tax code.

For Example:

In Maintaining Tax Rates for tax code I0: A/P Sales Tax, exempt

The following is stated

For tax code I0 and tax code I1, you may only change the tax percentage rate for condition types

  • JP1I,

  • JP2I,

  • JP3I, or

  • JP4I.

This means you cannot have for example tax precentage rate for condition type JP1I and JP4I for tax code I0
