2951482 - Access Restriction Rule Not Working for Tasks

You have created a access restriction rule to prevent your certain business users to edit tasks, but it is not working. The rule says that the user has permission to read the task, but not write.

User created a task, but is not involed as a party (owner/ processor). Still, she/he can edit it.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a task with the user that has the rule applied to him/her.
  2. Fill the processor and owner field with the desired parties.
  3. Save it.
  4. Try to edit again and see that it is possible.

The person who creates a business object cannot be forbidden to modify it.

To create a task, choose a user that is supposed to be authorized to modify the task (E.g. manager).
