This document contains information about caching of documents stored in BI platform when using Analysis Office.

Analysis for MS Office

When using Analysis Office, it is possible to enable the caching of documents stored in BI platform by following the steps below:

1. In CMC, go to Applications and open the properties of "Analysis Office Runtime";
   
   
2. Make sure the option "Enable Caching of Documents" is selected as shown below (available in BOE 4.2 SP3 or higher):
   
   
   
   
3. In Analysis Office, go to Excel File > Analysis > Customize Analysis > Options > Platform;
   
   
4. Make sure the setting "Enable Workbook Caching" is selected (this is selected by default);
   
   
5. Check the "Cache Location" field, which shows where the documents are cached in client machine.
