The value of extension field doesn't update from material master data to purchase order as expected

You have added extension fields with value under the General tab of material DEF (DEF represents for the material ID). However, when you select material DEF in purchase order item, you find the value doesn't update from master data to purchase order.

The extension scenario is not selected correctly.

1. Go to extension field Further Usage on purchase order item level.
2. Navigate to Extension Scenarios tab.
3. Check and extend the field to scenario: Material - General Information to Purchase Order - Item.
4. Then, system will carry the value maintained in material master data into purchase order.
