Symptom

  •  The following messages with Erorr 9416 are reported in the ASE errorlog:

Rep Agent on database 'testdb1' switched from mode 'async' to mode 'sync' because scanner reached end of log.
Current transaction ID (6182,31) in database 'master' (dbid = 1): commit wait expired.
Error: 9416, Severity: 17, State: 4
Rep Agent on database 'master' switched from mode 'sync' to mode 'async' because timer on commit expired.

  • The stream replication is enabled.
