2952750 - Unable to create Web Intelligence documents based on a relational SAP HANA connection from 3 tier mode of Rich Client

Symptom

  • While creating a Web Intelligence report on SAP HANA relational connection in 3 tier mode of Web Intellignce Rich client, getting the below error: 

    "Failed to open a browsing session with the connection 'com.sap.sl.relational.impl.ConnectionSpecificationImpl@1e52387 (networkLayer: JDBC, database: sapHana2x, connectionUri: null, connectionAvailable: true)'
    Cause: com.businessobjects.mds.services.solver.ConnectionSolverException: The requested API operation is not implemented by the CS server."

  • There are no issues when using the HTML Interactive or Applet editors in BI Launchpad, or 2 tier mode of Web Intelligence Rich Client.
