SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Off

1. Go to Manage Data/ Manage Time off Structures admin tool.

2. Search for Time off related objects in the search area. For example Holiday Calendar:

3. No results are found.

4. Go to Configure Object Definitions>Object Definition, and search for the required time off object definition.

5. Take Action > Make correction and Scroll down to the bottom of the object definition and verify the Security section, If "Secured = No" then it means objects are not secure and by default will not be available for access via RBP in case Metadata Framework> "Access to non-secured objects" permission is not provided to the logged in user.

Solution 1:

Secure the Object Definition of Holiday/ Holiday Calendar via Configure Object Definition tool.

Now provide RBP permission:

Permission Location: Time Management Object Permissions
Permission Name: view, edit, delete etc beside each Object
Result: This enables a user to access the secured time related objects in Manage Data/ Manage Time off Structures.

Solution 2:

Go to logged in user's Permission Role > Metadata Framework> Enable check for "Access to non-secured objects".
