Environment

Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a Lead and followup opportunity with Account & Contact
  2. Copy the contact id used in Lead
  3. Go to the Data Protection and Privacy work center
  4. Delete the Contact Id

You experience after deletion of the Contact the Lead also got deleted but not opportunity or other transaction documents.

To enable this functionality

  1. Go to Business Configuration workcenter
  2. Implementation Projects view
  3. Select Your Project
  4. Click on Edit Project Scope
  5. Go to Questions
  6. Expand Built-in Services and Support->System Management -> Security-> Scope the corresponding scoping question "During personal data removal, do you want to retain the transactional data and remove only the personal data of contacts and employees?"
