2953016 - Error While Posting or Cancelling Goods and Service Receipt: Address Selected is Not a valid Ship-from Address

You are trying to cancel a Goods and Service Receipt(GSR refers to Goods and service receipt) document but you encounter error while posting the cancellation document.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Goto Goods and service receipt work center
2. Select view Receipts and Returns-> show by documents
3. Search for respective GSR document
4. Select Cancel GSR document
5. Cancellation GSR document screen is opened
6. Select check-> no errors
7. Now select Post

Error:

Saving of PO changes not possible; changes inconsistent

Address selected is not a valid ship-from address

Supplier main address was changed recently in the supplier master data.

In the supplier master data, under Communication tab-> addresses, address row is empty but it is set as main and ship from location.

Please set the main address correctly in the supplier master data under communication-> addresses tab and then you can process the GSR.
