2953102 - CDS views for reporting with field "Group Account Name"

Symptom

  1. Requirement to pull up a report for G/L accounts (Manage G/L Account Master Data) with relevant fields "Group Account Name" being one of them.
  2. We do not find any released CDS view with field "Group Account Name".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to App Manage G/L Account Master Data.
  2. Select Chart of account  YCOA.
  3. View: Chart of Account view.
  4. Press GO button.
  5. Click settings button.
  6. Select check box Group Account Name.
  7. Press OK button.
  8. Column, Group Account Name.

Resolution

The field AccountGroupName is present in the CDS view I_GLAccountGroupText. It can be used to pull the text field Group Account Name.
