2954090 - Error against Sales Area and Ship-to party combination while creating a sales order

Symptom

The following error is encountered when creating a standard sales order with reference to a contract:

Message no. VP210: Ship-to party & not defined for sales area &

Cause

The error message is raised against the item. The field 'Item Division' is checked at document type level. This setting means that the item Division is taken from the Material Master. Unless the ship-to party has been setup for the Sales Area derived from the Material Master data, the error mesaage is raised.

Resolution

Check the Material Master settings in App 'Display Material'. Cross check the division assigned to the material against the sales area defined for the Ship-to Party.
