2954557 - Unable to MIgrate Compensation Data Via the Migration Tool

You are trying to migrate Compensation Data for an Employee via Migration Tool, however the system shows the error message below:

"Comp. file could not determined for employee XYZ for given validities"

SAP Business ByDesign 2005 and higher.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Overview view.
3. Search for the activity Migration of Employee Data.
4. Click Migrate compensation data using the migration Tool.
5. Select the required file and click Execute Migration step by step.
6. System shows the mentioned error message.

The Valid From Date that has been used under the Grade Assignments tab is before the hiring date of the employee.

Correct the Valid From Date, under the Grade Assignments tab. to a date after the hiring date of the employee.
