2954896 - Record Not Created; Parent Foreign Key Not Found When Creating Org Units via Data Workbench

You tried to upload organizational units via Data Workbench work center. The task was successful. But the created org units are not set as sales, sales office, and reporting line units, even though you marked it as TRUE in the template. There is a message in the tab Organizational_Unit_Functions. Message: Record not created; parent foreign key not found.

1. Go to Data Workbench work center
2. Click on Import view
3. Click on Insert
4. Click on Complete Business Object
5. Search for Organizational Unit
6. Click on Next
7. Upload file
8. Click on Next until Import
9. Go to Monitor tab
10. Select task name
11. Note: 2 out of 2 records were successfully.
12. Open file
13. Go to Tab Organziational_Unit_Functions

A possible cause could be that the external keys used for OrganisationalUnitExternalKey in sub entities are not present in the Organisational_Unit tab.

You need to make sure that the field External Key in Organizational_Unit tab matches with the field Organisational Unit External Key in the Organisational_Unit_Functions tab.
