2955101 - The delivering plant will not be copied into the existing items

You are creating a sales order, you have already defined the items in the sales order and then you enter a delivering plant into the sales order overview (Deliver.Plant) and click enter, a warning message is displayed: The delivering plant will not be copied into the existing items.

This message is not an error, is just a warning message.

It happens because the delivery plant is automatically determined when you enter an item in the sales order and it is explained in the below documentation:

The field Deliver.Plant in the overview screen is just for inputting plant into newly created items. This is explained in the below documentation:

2769259 - The field Deliver.Plant remains blank/empty in Sales Order.

This is a standard system behavior.
