2955318 - SAP ASE performance counters not found in the Windows Performance Monitoring (ASE 16SP03PL08/Windows 2016)

Symptom

  • Once configured SQL Perf monitor Integration parameter to 1 and ASE rebooted.
  • The SAP ASE counters group can't be found in windows performance tool.
  • Very often associated to error in Windows event log

The Open Procedure for service "SYBSQL_<your_ASE_server>" in DLL "C:\..\ASE-16_0\dll\sybperf-<your_ASE_server.dll>" failed. Performance data for this service will not be available. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the error code.
