2955964 - Help Text on People Profile Blocks - Employee Profile

What are the blocks that currently support help text and how to configure it.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

Currently, only the a few Talent and Custom blocks support help text, in People Profile.

Custom Blocks:

Please submit an enhancement request by following the instructions listed in KBA 2090228, if you feel other blocks should support this feature, as well.

In order to configure the help text in one of the blocks mentioned above, please:

1. Go to "Configure People Profile";
2. Select the block you want to add the help text to;
3. Type a Title for it in "Block Title" field;
4. In the "Block Description" box, write the help text;
   
   
   
   
5. Hit "Save";
6. Go to "Employee Profile";
7. Scroll down to the recently edited block;
8. Click on the "Help" icon;
   
   
   
   
9. A dialog box will be displayed, showing the text you configured as "Block Description" in "Configure People Profile";
