2956432 - How to set up Partner Functions as Mandatory for a Customer Account Group

When creating a customer master using the account group CUST, the partner functions are not automatically assigned. 

 SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to Maintain Business Partner app.
2. Create a Business Partner as Customer.
3. Navigate to Sales tab.
4. Add sales data.
5. Observe that partner function is not automatically assigned.

The partner functions are not configured as mandatory in the customer account group configuration activity. Without this setting, the system does not assign them automatically. 

Follow below steps for Partner Functions as Mandatory in Manage Your Solution' app:

1. Open 'Manage Your Solution' app.
2. Navigate to 'Configure Your Solution'.
3. Search for the configuration activity 101286 - Set Up Partner Determination for Customer Master.
4. Display & select the relevant project.
5. Select the Account Group by checking its checkbox.
6. Select the required partner functions and mark them as mandatory.
7. Open Partner Functions in Procedure.
8. Save the configuration.
9. When creating a customer, the system will now automatically assign the mandatory partner functions.

Incase while using SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC) :

1. Log on to the project experience in SAP Central Business Configuration.
2. Select the relevant project.
3. Navigate to the configurations activity tab. 
4. Search for the configuration activity 101286 - Set Up Partner Determination for Customer Master.
5. Select the configuration activity to navigate directly to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system.
6. Select the Account Group by checking its checkbox.
7. Open Partner Functions in Procedure.
8. Select the required partner functions and mark them as mandatory.
9. Save the configuration.
10. When creating a customer, the system will now automatically assign the mandatory partner functions.
