2956649 - Unable to Update the Field Distribution Type in Data Workbench Template Opportunity Product Revenue Plan

You perform data migration related to opportunity. You need to update the field Distribution Type in Item Revenue Schedule section in Products tabs of the opportunity. But the field Distribution Type is not available in the template Opportunity_Product_Revenue_Plan.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Sales work center
2. Click on Opportunities view
3. Open any opportunity
4. Go to Products tab
5. Select any product
6. Note: The Item Revenue Schedule will be visible.
7. Click on Add
8. Note: There is a field called Distribution Type.
9. Go to Data Workbench work center
10. Click on Import view
11. Click on Opportunity
12. Download csv file
13. Open template Opportunity_Product_Revenue_Plan
14. Note: The field Distribution Type is not available.

The distribution of Item Revenue Schedule based on the Distribution Type is a special feature for the UI.

For Data Workbench and for the OData API, the Distribution Type is not required because the distribution amounts need to be provided together with the corresponding distribution dates in the Data Workbench import file. The distribution is then automatically done based on the given distribution dates.
