2956753 - Displaying the output in a sales order requires WRITE authorization against the Restriction Type

Symptom

After configuring a Restriction Type i.e. Sales Area, with 'Read' only access, it is no longer possible to display the output in a sales order.

Cause

Restriction type 'Sales Area' has the following activities assigned to the access category type:

Add or Create - Write
Change - Write
Display - Read
Print, Edit Messages - Write
Delete - Write

Resolution

Please add 'Write' access against the Restriction type in the catalog in app 'Maintain Business Role'.
