2957413 - Incorrect DVD number in SUM phase: PREP_INPUT_CHECK/READDATA_EXP

Symptom

During upgrade to EHP8 for SAP ERP 6.0, Software Update Manager (SUM) stops at phase PREP_INPUT_CHECK/READDATA_EXP with the following message:

Could not find suitable DVDs for product *NW* required for the procedure.

You have provided the EHP8 FOR ERP6.0 Upgrade DVD to SUM, and followed the solution in KBA 2292146 but the error couldn't be resolved.
