Resolution

The Base Object of the business rule for termination should be Employment Details and should be triggered as onSave in employmentInfo within Manage Business Configuration (BCUI).

The screenshot is a very simple scenario, please make sure to validate the needed conditions such as if the employee has the Pay Component to be deleted.
