2958124 - Clarification on Online Item Status Report's columns

Symptom

I would like to know the difference between the below mentioned columns within the Online Item Status report:

  1. User Last Activity and Object Last Activity
  2. User Credit Given and Object Credit Given
  3. User Finished and Object Finished
  4. User Has Access and Object Has Access

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Resolution

User Last Activity - This columns contains the information about the last time when the user launch any content inside the item.

User Credit Given - It means whether the item is completed and credit given to the user. The completion could be either done by the user or any admin who recorded the item as completed.

User Finished - It means whether the item is finished by user him/herself. If the item is completed by the user, then it will show as Yes. However, if an admin recorded the completion for the user, then it will show as No.

Object Last Activity - It is the last time when the user launched this content.

Object Credit Given - It means whether the content is completed. The completion could be either done by the user or any admin who recorded item as completed.

Object Finished - It means whether the Object is Finished by the User. If the Object is recorded by an admin, then it will show as No.

Difference between User Has Access and Object Has Access

When an item is assigned to the user, then you will see the item within the Assigned Items sections and if you click on Object Details, then the Has Access column is referring to that. For items which are not SCORM, the object details will be shown once the user start the course, but for SCORM content it is always visible regardless it is started or not.
The Object Has Access column means that the user has access to the particular content object, so it seems like that the two fields purpose is the same, but not exactly.
There is a difference between User Has Access and Object Has Access column. If the item needs an approval before launching, the User Has Access field will be blank. And, if the user failed the Exam and if the Exam is set as locked after failure, then the Exam object will shown Object Has Access as No. The User Has Access field will still be Yes because the user only has limited access to the exam content, but he/she still have access to the item.
