2958268 - Section Rating Label in Report isn't same as the PM Form

Symptom

Section Rating label showing different from PM form whereas the Section Rating shows correctly.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Reporting and select the Performance Management Domain.
  2. Include "Section Name", "Section Rating" and "Section Rating Label" columns in the ad-hoc report.
  3. Run the ad-hoc report.
  4. Notice that the section Rating label of the form doesn’t match with the Report.

Cause

  • The adjusted rating scale (fm-meta -> scale-adjusted-calculation) only works in Summary section and summary rating because it’s defined in fm-meta.
  • The goal/competency rating label in the ad-hoc report isn’t affected by the adjusted rating scale configuration.
  • The report only reflects the original rating description of goal/competency.

Resolution

  • PM form will use the adjusted rating scale label to replace the original rating label when displaying the overall competency rating in summary section.
  • On the other hand, the label for goal/competency rating in the ad-hoc report is from the rating scale defined in the goal/competency section.
