Symptom
Section Rating label showing different from PM form whereas the Section Rating shows correctly.
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Reporting and select the Performance Management Domain.
- Include "Section Name", "Section Rating" and "Section Rating Label" columns in the ad-hoc report.
- Run the ad-hoc report.
- Notice that the section Rating label of the form doesn’t match with the Report.
Cause
- The adjusted rating scale (fm-meta -> scale-adjusted-calculation) only works in Summary section and summary rating because it’s defined in fm-meta.
- The goal/competency rating label in the ad-hoc report isn’t affected by the adjusted rating scale configuration.
- The report only reflects the original rating description of goal/competency.
Resolution
- PM form will use the adjusted rating scale label to replace the original rating label when displaying the overall competency rating in summary section.
- On the other hand, the label for goal/competency rating in the ad-hoc report is from the rating scale defined in the goal/competency section.
