2958303 - You Are Not Able to See the Org Unit Manager of an Employee Under Employees View

You have assigned a manager to an org unit but when you open employees view the field manager is not populated.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Organizational Management work center
2. Select the Org Structures view
3. Search for the Org Unit XYZ (XYZ: Org Unit ID)
4. Select the Employees tab
5. The manager ABC is assigned

Now

1. Go to the People work center
2. Select the Employees view
3. Search for the employee
4. The manager field is empty
5. Same remark if you go the Administrator  work center
6. Employees view

Manager is visible if he/she is flagged as Reporting Line and not the Functional Manger.

It is also very important to check and make the affected organizational unit has any function associated.

Change the assignment from Functional Manager to Reporting Line.
