Error message F5201 "Posting period XX is not open" occurred when executed depreciation posting run in transaction code AFAB

(or in a different asset posting transaction)

pointing a 'variant posting period' different than the 'variant posting period' in OBY6 transaction for the Company Code (SPRO: Financial Accounting Global Settings -->Global Parameters for Company Code --> Enter Global Parameters)
