2959100 - Last Name Displayed Twice in Personnel File

When looking at an employee in work center Personnel Administration, you notice that an additional or double last name is displayed.

1. Go to Personal Administration work center

2. Open the personnel file of an employee ID

3. Observe that a double or additional last name is displayed.

The duplication or additional surname for an employee appears due to the fact, that the Additional Family Name attribute on the Personnel Data tab on the Personnel File has a value maintained.

Note:

If this field does not show up for your user on the Personnel File, then you can add it via the Personalisation mode for the Personnel Data tab on the Personnel File.

To correct, please add the attribute and/or remove the value from the Additional Family Name attribute. Save the change and then if required, start Personalisation again and remove the attribute from the Personnel File.
