Public Cloud does not offer Order Revaluation(CON2) function currently.

The period-end production costs solution BEI has been replaced by new solution event-based production cost posting 3F0, so that work in process will be calculated with each underlying business transaction and production variances as soon as the goods receipt to inventory is received. We do not intend to revisit the production orders with every change but rather only to credit the cost centers and debit the material/production versions in actual costing.

There is no plan to open the revaluation of the production order/process order based on existing solution, as the underlying architecture violates public design guidance, also not compatible with current public cloud finance solution e.g. UPA etc.
We will see how the customers requirement will be evolved and revisit the topic.

For customers who run the actual costing 33Q, they shouldn’t run revaluation at order level and do the posting. Because the customers run Actual Costing which distributes the price differences (including price differences from activity), it debits the difference between the plan price and actual price to Material directly. In this case, you should not do revaluation at actual prices for orders.

Hence, To include the activity rates in the product costs, customer must use scope item 33Q (Actual Costing) which will ensure that the updated rates are assigned to inventory and cost of goods sold for each material/production version.

To view the actual costs at order level, then the on-the-fly logic based on CDS views can be used. The on the fly reporting logic will impact on actual costing run.
• The CDS view could achieve nearly actual costs per work center/operation/order (activity information is also visible), as well as the activity confirmation quantity.
