2959596 - Scheduled DRTM Purge fails with no preview report but if launched immediately it does create preview reports and completes

A scheduled Purge job fails and does not even create a preview report but if the same scheduled purge job is launched immediately it does create the preview report

 SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1. Setup a new scheduled DRTM purge (any type of DRTM purge - example - DRTM Master Data)
2. Set the approver (someone with the permission Manage Data Purge > Manage and Approve DRTM Data Purge Request)
3. Ensure this approver has the permission: Data Retention Management > DRTM Master Data (or whatever type of DRTM purge you are running)
4. Limit the Target Population for the above permission so the users you will be purging are not included in the target population
5. Let the scheduled DRTM purge run
6. You will see the scheduled purge failed to even create a Preview report
7. Log in as a user with with the same Data Retention Management > DRTM Master Data (or whatever type of DRTM purge you are running) permission but with a target population including the users you are expecting to purge
8. Go to the Data Retention Management tool and for the scheduled purged already setup above select the option Launch Immediately
9. The purge will run as expected, create the preview report and complete the purge

Expected behaviour

Please ensure that both purge requester and approver are granted with the following permissions below.

• Create DRTM Data Purge Request
• Manage and Approve DRTM Data Purge Request
