2959949 - Person-ID-External for dependents is not visible in the dependents portlet

Symptom

The field person-id-external has been enabled in personinfo_dependents i.e. for dependents biographical information, the field is enabled, yet it is not visible in dependents portlet.

Reproducing the Issue

Enable the field person-id-external in personinfo_dependents in Manage Business Configuration:
Navigate to the profile of any user and it is seen that the field is not appearing

Resolution

Currently, the person-id-external field cannot be viewed in the dependents portlet for the dependent. Please raise an enhancement, if you would like to have this feature: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2090228
