2960246 - What happens to Offers when a Job Requisition is closed in Recruiting?

• Offer approval still In Progress but no longer available for approval and is not showing on the To-Do list.
• Job Requisition gets closed but the offer remains in Draft status.
• To-Do entries pending on rejected offers.

Scenario 1: Job Requisition is Closed when Offer Approval is still in Progress
Job Requisition Status: Closed
Offer Detail Status: Pending
Form Data Status: Deleted
To-Do Entry Status:NULL
Current Behavior:
Once Job Requisition is closed, the Offer inside the Job Requisition remains on Pending Approval, but the Form is Deleted, which results in the offer no longer being available for approval, and also not showing on the To-Do list. Now, if the Job Requisition is re-opened, or if the operator has access to offers on the disqualified status, and it accesses the offer, it will still be visible, but not action can be taken on the offer. In case the Requisition has been re-opoened, and the user accesses the Job Requisition for approving the offer, this user will receive an error: "Error while routing, Service Application exception occured.Wrapped Exception: FormRoutingException caught: can't retrieve routeMapBean".

Correction proposed by the Software Engineering team: This error should no longer occur due to prevention created by engineering team: RCM-66595.

Scenario 2: Job Requisition is Closed with one version of the Offer in Draft status
Job Requisition Status: Closed
Offer Detail Status: Draft and Rejected
Form Data Status: NULL
To-Do Entry Status: NULL
Current Behavior:
The Job Requisition has been closed and the Offer in Draft remain on the Draft status. This does not cause any application errors, but as no actions have been taken on the Offer and it is still in Draft, the Draft shouldn't be kept available on the application. If the Originator of the offer has permission and accesses the Offers for the application, it will still be there, and any action taken then, could cause data issues.

Correction Proposed by the Software Engineering team:
If the Offer is still in Draft status, the draft should be Deleted to avoid any possible problems.

Scenario 3: Job Requisition is Closed with one version of the Offer in Rejected status
Job Requisition Status: Closed
Offer Detail Status: Draft and Rejected
Form Data Status: NULL
To-Do Entry Status: NULL
Current Behavior:
Once the Job Requisition is closed, the offers that have been Rejected will stay as Rejected offers, and this will cause the Originator to have To-Do entries pending.

Correction Proposed by the Software Engineering team:
For the Offer that is Rejected, if the Originator does not take any actions on it, the offer should be moved to Canceled status, so the To-Do entries can be cleared with the requisition closure.
