2960838 - How to restrict access of an user from creating or seeing a document /why a User cannot see a particular Project

You wanted to stop an user from seeing or creating a document like a Supplier Invoice or Purchase order which belongs to a particular Org Unit, or you wanted to stop an user from seeing and editing a project that was created by another user.

Access restrictions

1. Go to Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to Business Users view.
3. Search and select the user.
4. click on edit and choose access rights.
5. Go to the Access Restrictions tab.
6. Find the work center view SRM_invoice entry (Or any other view related to Supplier Invoice or Purchase order).
7. On the right-side you have two columns called Read Access and Write Access.
8. There you choose "restricted".
9. Then scroll down and go to sub tab detailed Restriction.
10. Under Access group column you will see all available Org Units.
11. For which ever access should be given, you have check mark the respective read and write access check box.
12. Which ever are not check marked, they will have no access.

Note: What ever appears under access group that is what is currently allowed to be used to restrict. For example, for Project you will see employee id's(Person responsible for project) appearing under access group and not companies.
