Symptom

 To configure automatic archiving of AS Java log files

The syslog messages are written in a cyclical way, so old entries are overwritten with new entries. It is not possible to set a specific amount of time to keep entries for. Archiving of syslog file is done.How far the entries go back depends on your /max_diskspace/local parameter setting and on the amount of messages you have in the syslog each day that fills up this space.
