2962004 - Error: 'VsrMG' Illegal location/hub assignment: unknown loc <location_id> for hub <transshipment_location_id>

Symptom

  • SAP Transportation Management - Optimizer Planning
  • End user gets an error "Error while creating model" with FU in transportation proposal
  • In the log file , there is error similar to:

    <e> <time> vsrmg_build_locations.cpp(81)'VsrMG' Illegal location/hub assignment: unknown  loc <location_id> for hub <transshipment_location_id>

  • These location ID correspond to a location and a transshipment location.
  • Note that FU to be planned does not have these locations. For the FU, there is a direct lane between the FU source location and destination location.
  • What is causing this error and planning to fail?
