2962144 - Signal 11 in sparclock with ra_ci_stpmgr_thread in stack when execute 'sap_teardown' - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • When issue sap_teardown in HADR setup, ASE errorlog reports an Infected with Signal 11 (SIGSEGV) error in the module sparclock with a stack trace that contains at least one of the following functions:

ra_ci_stpmgr_thread
ra__ci_stpmgr_execute

  • Prior to signal 11, the following messages also reported in the ASE errorlog;

    Rep Agent on database 'db1' switched from mode 'sync' to mode 'async' because of a shutdown.
    kernel (CI-Info) Message: 76050, Severity: 0 Producer of Stream 'db1' is exiting.
