Symptom

When replicating an employee from SuccessFactors to ByD, an error occurred. Error: Initial key fields for business partner identification. Creating employee not possible; number range interval APHCF1_AP_HCF_EMPLOYEE_INT_01 missing.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Master Data Replication work center
  2. Click on Employees view
  3. Select Failed/ Not Started
  4. Search for the relevant employee

Cause

There is no number range for internal employees.

Resolution

You can adjust the Number range for Employees and Service Agents as follows:

  1. Go to Business Configuration work center
  2. Click on Implementation Projects view
  3. Select the current implementation project
  4. Click on Open Activity List
  5. Search for the activity Number Range for Employees and Service Agents
  6. Select Number range for employees
