2962340 - Changes to Header and Footer Rule Fields Are Not Saved - Recruiting Management

While trying to update a field value in the rules section of the header and footer template, the changes are not saved.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Navigate to Manage Job Posting Header and Footer in Admin Center
2. Try to update a value in one of the fields in the Rules section
   
3. Save Changes
4. Now if you check the template again you will see the changes have not been saved
   

This happens when the field has been defined as an mfield on the job requisition template. Only filter fields are supported to update in the rules section of Manage Job Posting Header and Footer. This is a system limitation.

You will need to change the affected field definition to a filter field rather than an mfield in order for the system to retain the changes in the job posting header and footer. 

Note: Changing the field type of a field can cause issues with in the system. It would be recommended to remove the rewrite permissions of the existing field and create a new field using the correct field type. 

There is currently an internal enhancement open to allow the user to save changes to mfields in the headers and footers. Your CSM will be able to track this enhancement on your behalf.
