2962955 - How to Activate Resource Management Work Center in SAP Business ByDesign

The Resource Management work center is not visible, and no related scoping option is available in Business Configuration.

SAP Business By Design

1. Open Business Configuration work center
2. Select Implementation Project
3. Choose Edit Project Scope
4. Navigate to the Questions step
5. Search for Resource Management or Resource Availability Search
6. No option is found to enable the Resource Management work center

This is expected system behavior, as the Resource Management work center depends on Project Management and cannot be activated independently.

1. Open Business Configuration work center
2. Select Implementation Project
3. Choose Edit Project Scope
4. Navigate to the Questions step
5. Follow this path:
   SAP Business / Project Management / Project Planning and Execution / Project Resource Management
6. Enable the question:
   Do you want to use Resource Availability Search based on Commitment Quantity of the employee from Projects Team and Staffing?
7. Complete and confirm the scoping changes
8. Once the scoping is completed, the Resource Management work center becomes available.
