2963029 - Picklist values of standard fields not showing on Employee Profile

I have set some standard fields as picklist and imported values for all the users. When I access the employee profile of these users, I am not able to see the value of the picklist, it is showing blank.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1. Go to Manage Business Configuration;
2. Access the standard fields and edit one of them;
3. Set some picklist to that field;
4. Using Employee Import, on the column of the specific field, import one of the values of the picklist;
5. Go to the profile of the user and check the field;
6. Field is blank.

The value imported on Employee Import probably is not the option ID of that specific picklist value, so the system didn't find any value for that and is showing as blank.

When importing data for users on fields that are set with some picklist, the reference that needs to be used is the Option ID of the picklist values.

Considering the picklist Testing below.

If we would like to set the value "optionB" to some user in the UDF, we would not use the "optionB" as the reference for this value. We need to access this value clicking on it and view the Option ID.

For this example, we should use 663541 in the import file.
