2964784 - Unable to synchronize users via Identity Provisioning due to "Could not parse token starting at position XX" error

Symptom

Identity Provisioning job fails and the following error message is displayed in the job log:

"error=com.sap.cloud.ips.connectors.api.ConnectorException: Unable to write entity to target system with name Identity Authentication-target

Caused by: com.jayway.jsonpath.InvalidPathException: Could not parse token starting at position XX. Expected ?, ', 0-9, * ,..."
