2964791 - Failed to add target HANA DB to HANA Cockpit Manager

Symptom

When trying to add target HANA DB (register resource) to HANA Cockpit Manager, it failed with error below.

You checked the connection via telnet and hdbsql from HANA Cockpit server, they failed with errors as below.

  • telnet <target_hdb_host_name> <sql port>
telnet hostname 30013
Trying 10.20.30.40....
telnet: connect to address 10.20.30.40:Connection refuesd

  • hdbsql -n <target_hdb_host_name>:<sql port> -d <db name> -u <user name> -p <password>
* -10709:Connection failed (RTE:[89006] System call 'connect' failed, rc=111:Connection refused {10.20.30.40:30013} {hostname:30013}
