2965880 - When applying to a job, field value is a numeric value in the picklist field - Recruiting Management

Symptom

When applying to a job requisition, the field in the application is coming populated with a numeric valued instead of the picklist label.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Cause

The field has the same field ID as the field from the candidate profile, but the picklist IDs are different: picklist1 is in the candidate profile template, and picklist2 is in the application template for the same field ID.

Resolution

When the fields have the same field ID and field type in the candidate profile template and in the job application template, they sync over one another, that is an expected behavior. And that is also why when you were applying to a job requisition, the field value was displaying the option ID, because this numeric value is the option ID of the value you have selected in the candidate profile.

To fix this, you'd have to change the picklist associated either with the candidate profile template or with the job application template, they both need to match.
