2966856 - Error : Value XXXXXXX is Missing in the Accounting Principle. Restore Value Before Scoping.

When you are trying to descope the Accounting Principle, you are getting the error 'Value XXXXXXX is Missing in the Accounting Principle. Restore Value Before Scoping'.

SAP Business ByDesign

• Go to Business Configuration work center
• Select Implementation Projects view and then Edit Project Scope
• Navigate to Questions tab
• Go to Financial and Management Accounting -> General Ledger -> Accounting Principles
• Uncheck the Accounting Principle for the relevant country and you will the get the error

The descope of Business Option "Accounting Principle" is currently prevented as there is already net fine tuning which is based on this.

Remove the Accounting Principle from the Configurations before you try to descope it.

Steps :

• Go to Business Configuration work center
• Select Implementation Projects and then choose Activities
• Select the activity Fixed Assets Valuation View
• Check whether the Accounting principle you were trying to descope was used in any of the Fixed Asset Valuation Views
• Remove the Accounting Principle and then save the configuration
• Now, you will be able to descope the relevant Accounting Principle
