2966885 - Error FAGL_ORG_UNITS001 happens when creating Sales Order

Symptom

Error "Profit center XXXX not found in controlling area A000" (FAGL_ORG_UNITS001) happens when creating Sales Order.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

Create Sales Order and input material data, then press Enter.

Cause

The issue may not be relevant with the master data of the Profit Center.
Please check whether you have any custom coding to substitude Profit Center in App Custom Fields and Logic.
If you have such substitution, please make sure the replacing text for Profit Center is with leading zeros. For example, "0000100001", not "100001".

Resolution

Please make necessary adjustments in App Custom Fields and Logic.
