2966899 - Error M8082 in MIR4 for held invoices - SAP ERP & S/4HANA

Symptom

When editing a held invoice in MIR4, an error message is raised saying that the price is too high.

This KBA covers the following scenarios:

  • In case of GR-based IV enabled, the amount can be recognized as above the sum of goods receipt values, even though the value is exactly the same.
  • In case of planned delivery costs, opening a held invoice leads to M8082

Note: This does not happen when a new invoice is being created with the same values.
