2967961 - Unable to remove a date pattern from Locale and system displays 'Some or all of the pattern IDs selected are in use and cannot be deleted'

Admin wants to remove date patterns from a certain locale.

System displays "Validation Error: Some or all of the pattern IDs selected are in use and cannot be deleted."

1. Learning Administration > References > Manage Labels > Locales
2. Search for the certain locale > Edit > Date Patterns > Select the pattern you would like to delete > click the checkbox for Remove > Apply Changes
3. Validation Error displays: Some or all of the pattern IDs selected are in use and cannot be deleted
   
   

The date pattern to be removed is in use by a user/admin currently under the certain locale.

If a Date Pattern is used by any user or admin utilizing this locale, then the Date Pattern cannot be removed from the locale.

Admin needs to make sure that no users or admins are utilizing that Date Pattern on this specific locale first, only then can it be removed.
