2968099 - TREX error: 'index not found' or 'unknown index'

Symptom

You are using an application that makes use of indexes in TREX.

The application is having problems trying to find those indexes in TREX. The indexing jobs or searches are failing.

In the TREXAdmin tool or in transaction TREXADMIN, the indexes are present and not showing as corrupted.

But in the TREXIndexServerAlert trace, you find errors like the following:

Index Id: <indexname>, NS_SEARCH_DELTA lock failed in showIndex rc=2750, IndexMgr: index not found
or
unknown index

That means that TREX could not find the indexes.

The problem can also happen when the application is trying to create new indexes.
